This year’s design was was developed to underscore the restaurant’ s commitment to hosting Cincinnati’s “original” Oyster Festival for the past 27 years. The graphic theme was inspired by label designs found on antique one gallon oyster cans. Initially designed for tee shirts offered during the event, the theme was also extended to other POS, print ads and banner ads.

SlipStream recently completed a re-branding program for Blue Grass Quality Meats which included the development of the company’s new logo. The new logo in combination with newly designed package labeling presents a simpler format with increased brand name size and stronger brand legibility.

Redesigned package labeling incorporating the new logo was applied to over 65 of Blue Grass Quality Meats retail products. The updated approach more clearly communicates product standard of identity and provides greater legibility for product attributes, ingredients and other information.

Additionally, label size categories were consolidated and production specifications simplified to provide a more cost effective printing solution.

SlipStream is providing marketing support for Restaurant Week scheduled for this May. The event, presented by 25 Greater Cincinnati Independent Restaurants, will pair local chefs with area farmers and producers to offer attractively priced, three course dinners. Promotional materials include print ads, web content, banner ads and in-store promotional materials.

SlipStream recently developed the design for this lightweight portable exhibit which helps GoldRiver Orchards take their company story on the road, or even across the ocean.  First stop: Shaghai, China.

Cincinnati beer fans always take advantage of an opportunity to enjoy some of the area’s fine local brews. And, the tradition of celebrating Bockfest is no exception.

Washington Platform restaurant participates in the event with special menus, events, music…  and beer! This year, SlipStream developed a typographic design theme for the promotional materials that presents the details in a “letterpress-style” reminiscent of antique show bills.

This is a sampling of new packaging designed  for the Truform Compression Hosiery products. SlipStream developed a format that was effective at point-of-display and could be easily adapted to the entire line of products by Truform’s in-house  graphics department.

Project: Materials Handling Equipment Sales Literature

This sales piece features custom illustration that demonstrates the range of product applications Crown Plastics provides customers. The brochure is one of a series of sales aids that target specific industries – in this example, materials handling. 

Crown manufactures high performance products utilizing Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene. Most of their product is manufactured in sheets of varying size and thickness. A variety of industries, ranging from recreational to materials handling, specify Crown’s high abrasion resistant thermoplastic polymers.

SlipStream designed this gate-fold sales brochure to support Crown’s marketing effort to reach manufacturers in the transportation sector. This brochure focuses on the automotive category and features a cutaway illustration that identifies a variety of applications for Crown DuraSurf™ products.

SlipStream is now working with the Greater Cincinnati Independent Restaurants providing marketing communications support for the organization. GCIR is a group of 25 Cincinnati area restaurants that are meeting a growing interest from customers to dine at independently owned restaurants featuring local fare. Initial work includes providing marketing communications support for a new customer loyalty program, promotion of the Restaurant Week events, and design of the “EatLocalCincy” logo.
